Tilt shot- this follows an object or body up and down, this is often used to show power
Zoom- alternative to tracking shot
Arc shot-full or semi circle around a character
Crane shot- camera looks down onto the action
Panning shot- mounted on tripod moving from side to side
Extreme long shot/establishing shot- usually outside, used to set the story
Long shot- character head to toe, gives information on the character, often used to introduce characters
Mid shot- from the waist up, used with familiar characters
Two shot- two characters, shows relationships
Close up- head and shoulders, shows emotion or a significant object
Point of view- shows people and places from the characters point of view
Extreme close up- more emotional, usually used to highlight emotion in people eyes or significant objects
