for my GCSE art we studied an artist called Paul Cézanne, he loved to draw fruit in many different situations. i feel these pictures represent his style and also if he were still alive i feel he would have used photos and modern technology like the kaleidoscope filter to progress his work and help it to reach a wider audience. i also feel the pictures of rotting apples give a great contrast compared to the sweet and crisp apples, as he only studied attractive fruit i believe the rotten apples give a deadly and poisonous tone.
